“I suppose that sounds a bit weird. I mean, it doesn’t sound very much, an hour. Losing a year of your life, that’s impressive – but an hour? I mean…what’s an hour?”
Desperately searching for the lost hour that tipped the balance of her life, Lisa journeys to Dissocia, a colourful and off-kilter world, where she meets a singing polar bear, insecurity guards, and a sadistic scapegoat. The inhabitants of Dissocia are friendly, funny – and brutal.
Written by acclaimed Scottish playwright, Anthony Nielsen, The Wonderful World of Dissocia is a tragi-comedy offering a moving and poignant insight into the reality of mental illness and the reality of recovery.
