The ‘80s classic – as fiercely relevant as ever…
''To take to bits great propositions and their opposites''
1808. Under the morbid direction of Marquis de Sade, the patients of Charenton Asylum stage a play, detailing the murder of Jean-Paul Marat by Charlotte Corday. Theatre of Cruelty meets Sadein Philiosophy. A play within a play... Armed with Brechtian provocation, we thought we'd add a third layer and commandeer Weiss' poignant and unforgiving political commentary as a means to orient ourselves in these current times. Join the MA Company as they investigate humanity in its rawest form. We are the best that society has to offer, and the lowest.
