The Debut Festival is a pioneering event dedicated to the staging of new plays by graduating students on the BA in Acting and Contemporary Theatre (CT) course. Past Debut plays transferred to professional productions and received numerous national awards including ‘Soho Theatre Best Emerging Writer’, ‘The Stage for Excellent in Acting’, ‘Eddies (Perrier) for best comedy’, ‘Scotsman Fringe First’, ‘Total Theatre for Innovation’ and Best New Musical 2018.
Mentored by Jesse Briton, Christopher Brett Bailey, Louisa Skaaning and Uri Roodner.
