Nicolas Logue, Head of BA World Performance

Nicolas Logue is from the USA.

Nicolas Logue holds an MFA in Asian Theatre from the University of Hawai’i and a BA in Theatre from SUNY at Buffalo. Trained in Jingju at the Chinese Academy of Traditional Opera and by master teachers Lu Gen Zhang and Elizabeth Wichman-Walczak in Hawai’i, Nicolas Logue has instructed students in Chinese opera for the past six years, and acted and directed in New York, Honolulu and Beijing. 

Nicolas LogueNicolas Logue has trained extensively in Indonesian Randai and Silat, Japanese Kyogen, and worked with the ground-breaking Kumu Kahua Theatre in Honolulu, Hawai’i Shakespeare Festival and the Honolulu Theatre of Youth as a movement specialist and combat choreographer. He is a two time Fulbright Fellow, a full instructor in theatrical combat with Dueling Arts International, a life-long student of Chinese martial arts, a published author, and a member of the avant garde Cruel Theatre Company.
