Filomena Campus, Course co-ordinator, MA/MFA Theatre Directing
Filomena Campus is an iinternationally renowned Jazz vocalist and Award winning Theatre Director. She is Theatralia Artistic Director and productions include Theatralia Third Interlude, U-238 Depleted Uranium, 4.48 Psychosis and Crave by Sarah Kane, The Summoning of Everyman, A Game of Chess, Not in My Name and Misterioso by Stefano Benni.
She holds an MA in Theatre Directing with distinction and a first class honours degree in Foreign Languages and Literature. She was lecturer of Live Art, Drama and Contextual Studies at Kingston University and Buckingham Chilterns University. She has worked with BBC, UCL Bloomsbury, Hackney Empire, New London Orchestra and several other organisations both in the UK and in Italy. She has toured and collaborated with UK jazz stars including Evan Parker, Guy Barker, Orphy Robinson, Byron Wallen, Cleveland Watkiss, Antonio Forcione and Jean Toussaint.
