One of the UK's most innovative acting schools, East 15 has been training actors, directors, producers and theatre technicians for stage, TV, film and radio for 50 years.
East 15 offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as summer courses, at campuses in Loughton and Southend.
East 15's undergraduate courses are aimed at people who are interested in a career in stage, TV, film and radio. As well as practical courses in acting, East 15 also offers courses that allow you to work behind the scenes, such as the FdA/BA Technical Theatre Studies, or courses that would suit those who are interested in performance but may not wish to become a fully-fledged actor, BA World Performance.
Please note that the UCAS application form does allow you to apply for more than one course at East 15 and many students find this beneficial.
Courses offered at the Loughton Campus include:
BA Acting and Contemporary Theatre
Two/three-year Foundation/BA Stage Management and Technical Theatre
Certificate of Higher Education in Theatre Arts
East 15's postgraduate courses are aimed at graduates or those with relevant work experience who are interested in a career in stage, TV, film and radio, as an actor or as a director.
East 15's summer courses are aimed at student actors (aged 17 and upwards), teachers and experienced amateurs wishing to extend their talents and explore new ways of approaching characterisation using the methodology of the School's full-time programmes.
Easter and Summer workshops
East 15 Acting School's Easter, Summer and Sunday workshops are aimed at those aged between 8 and 16 years who are interested in learning more about theatre and drama. The workshops are not only about serious work and learning but also about having fun during the school holidays and on Sundays!
